Shaner has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team at our brand-new Fairfield Inn Daytona located in Daytona, Florida. The Fairfield Inn Daytona is one of two featured hotels in the new ONE DAYTONA area at the Daytona International Speedway. ONE DAYTONA will serve as Daytona's epicenter for premier entertainment, retail and dining. The hotel features spacious and modern guest rooms, a lobby bar, 24/7 market, pool and fitness center, business center and flexible work spaces, free high-speed Internet and complimentary breakfast.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for strategically soliciting and developing new accounts, maintaining excellent rapport with existing accounts and successfully promoting the hotel to the community. The ideal candidate must have sales experience with heavy emphasis in SMERF, Corporate Market Segments as well as catering sales experience. The Sales Manager must be able to develop and implement strategies with the assistance from the Director of Sales in an effort to exceed all sales goals. We are seeking an organized, personable and business-minded individual with strong communication skills.

+ Minimum of three (3) years of Hospitality management experience, Marriott sales experience preferred.

+ Excellent leadership abilities.

+ Superior communication skills, (both oral and written).

+ Detail-oriented and organized.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
